Creator earnings and your first eligible video
Follow a video from publishing to its recorded earnings and available balance.
On this page
Begin with a qualifying video
- Complete creator approval and the account checks required for earning.
- Publish a video through the appropriate creator flow in an eligible community. Follow its ownership, publishing and revenue rules.
- Review the post’s eligibility and its recorded revenue terms.
- Open Creator studio → Earnings to review the video’s activity, amounts and status.
- Request a payout only from a cleared, available balance under your account’s payout terms.
Your earnings are attached to the video
The video’s attributed distributable revenue and recorded video-owner percentage determine the video-owner share. The community owner receives the remaining distributable share. A view count on its own is not a cash total.
Your first eligible video can earn; a particular payment is not guaranteed simply because it is your first post. Eligibility and actual qualifying revenue still matter.
Why a video may not qualify
- It is an independent post outside a community, a community social post or a different content format.
- The account, community ownership or publishing route does not meet the eligibility shown for that video.
- Required revenue terms, media readiness, rights or review checks are unresolved.
- Recorded activity is not accepted as qualifying revenue activity.
Read the earning record before requesting help
Use the video ID or URL, community, terms version, earning period and status when reviewing an amount. Check the current eligibility in the workspace rather than assuming that joining a community or recording a percentage creates a payable balance.
